The Folkness summer duvet is a lighter version of our popular Folkness-Duvets, ideal if you tend to get warm at night and want a thinner Duvet that still feels soft and comfortable. The Folkness summer duvet is wrapped in cool, smooth cotton percale made from the finest quality. The cotton is GOTS certified and 100% organic, woven with a 200 TC thread count. This fabric is perfect for summer duvets as it breathes well and offers a pleasant feel on warm nights while still keeping the cozy feel of a Duvet.

With the Folkness summer duvet, there’s no hassle with duvet cover—our Duvets are joined with the duvet cover in one seamless design. Everything stays in place, without lumps or Duvet sliding around inside a duvet cover. It’s very easy to wash, dry, and then simply put back on the bed before bedtime. You’ll never have to make the bed the bed or make the bed the bedding again.

It is easy and convenient to wash your Folkness-Duvet!

  1. Take the whole Duvet as it is and put it in the washing machine.
  2. Use liquid detergent if possible. Avoid fabric softener if you can.
  3. Run a normal wash cycle up to 60 degrees, just as you would usually wash bed linen.
  4. Air dry or tumble dry. Both work well. When tumble drying a double duvet, it may be necessary to turn the Duvet over and run it for a little longer. Air drying takes about 5 to 7 hours, depending on ventilation and heat. In good weather outdoors, the drying time is much shorter.

How do I wash my Folkness duvet?

Put the duvet in the washing machine.
Run a regular cycle, up to 60 degrees.

Move the duvet to the dryer, or hang it to dry -->

Hang dry over a drying rack or something else suitable. Drying time approx. 5–7 hours, depending on ventilation, etc.
